POSITION SUMMARY:

Online Technology is searching for an experienced Senior Agile individual that can help FULLBEAUTY Brands continue their Agile journey. The Senior Project Manager/ Scrum Master will play an important role as a leader who helps the rest of the Agile/ Scrum team follow the process and deliver. The Senior Project Manager/ Scrum Master must have an excellent in depth understanding of the Scrum framework and the ability to train others in its subtleties.

The Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master is focused on the on-time & quality delivery of epics, user stories and feature enhancements and will be a leader in development other areas such as Partner Portals, Communications The Senior Project Manager/ Scrum Master will be responsible for helping the manager of PMO develop and report on KPIs for the scrum teams.

The Senior Project Manager/ ScrumMaster works closely with the Product Owner to ensure and maintain the product backlog and grooming practices. He/ she works with the entire Scrum team to evolve the Definition of Done (successfully completed). The Senior Project Manager/ ScrumMaster also works with the development team to find and implement the technical practices needed to achieve the Definition of Done at the end of each Sprint. This person will also collaborate very closely with the Scrum Technical Delivery Manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and Technical Delivery Manager to ensure successful and timely sprints.
• Be a strong Leader with the team members on the Scrum framework, and protects them from both internal and external distractions. The Senior Scrum Master keeps the Scrum team on track, productive, and growing in ability.
• Ensure that Scrum is understood and in place, inside the team and outside. He or she helps people outside the team understand the process and the kinds of interactions with the team that are helpful (and those that are not).
• The Senior Project Manager/ Scrum Master will be responsible for helping the manager of PMO develop and report on KPIs for the scrum teams.
• Be a Leader to improve the Scrum teams velocity and team practices.
• Support the manager of PMO and be a scrum coach & mentor to the scrum master team resources
• Be a Leader with the Manager of PMO in the Definition, Development and Communication of PMO/ Scrum best practices and standards
• Be a Leader with the Product Owner, Delivery Manager and UX in development Epic roadmaps
• Lead the team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to enhance the customers experience
• Ensure impediments are addressed so the team's progress is not hindered. These impediments may be external to the team (such as a lack of support from another team) or internal (such as the product owner not knowing how to properly prepare the product backlog).
• Foster self-organization, meaning that the team itself should remove issues wherever possible.
• Facilitate meetings and always act as a coach for the Scrum team, helping the team to execute the Scrum process.
• Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
• Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis collaboration and problem solving
• Facilitate getting team tasks accomplished without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
• Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
• Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
• Partner with the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
• Develop, maintain, and manage sprint calendars, KPIs, retrospectives, roadmaps
• Be a Leader in Scrum Tool management and processes (i.e., TFS)
• Demonstrate effective communications with all strategic and cross functional teams (your manager, Brands, IT, OT, Product Owners, Technical Delivery Manager, OT Sr Management) both verbal and written. Ensure timely, consistent, clear, concise and with reasonable transparency communications
• Help Ensure the PMO / Scrum Master Communication Portals remain current and maintain updates and provide enhancements on a consistent basis
• Be a Leader of formal change control process used to ensure that changes to a product, user story, project or system are introduced in a controlled, coordinated manner with minimal disruption
• Help Suggest training as required to Define, Develop and help plan Scrum Masters training to further advance this area of expertise
• Program with external vendors and internally within FULLBEAUTY Brands Training and with Human Resource.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree prefered) combined with 5+ years of progressive experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science/Business or related field and/or demonstrated capability through previous experience and education to perform job responsibilities
• 5 to 7 years' experience as a project manager utilizing proven project management methodologies in aggressive fast paced Internet environments.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in implementing web technical projects.
  1. First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I)
  2. 3+ Experience playing the Scrum Master role for a software development team in fast paced an Internet environment that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
• Proven ability to lead and execute full sprint iterations with Product Owners, UX, Delivery Managers and Scrum Teams
• Experience executing other project life cycles (Requirements, Development, Testing, Production) and coordinated work of Engineering, Development, Documentation, Graphical Design, and Quality Assurance (testing) teams.
• Experience with using Agile tools (i.,e Versione One) to drive Scrum teams, track burn down, velocity and report on KPIs
• In Depth Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burn down techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc)
• Must possess knowledge of Internet technology and e-commerce concepts
• Developed & Executed Sprint timelines, Reviews and Retrospectives
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of design and technology concepts on web sites
• Knowledge of the basic web site development tools and ecommerce technologies (front-end and back-end)
• Shows strong familiarity with the windows environment and applications such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Power Point.Visio, ABC Flow Chart
• Preferred Skills/Experience (Any of these is a plus):
  • Advance Scrum Master Certification (CSP)
  • Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, etc
  • Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing
  • Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team
  • Previous experience as a team lead
  • Experience with TFS
