Sr. Quality Assurance Auditor

Join our Labcorp Quality department as a Quality Assurance Auditor in Indianapolis.

Are you wanting to move your career into the Quality department? Do you have experience in quality in a regulated environment, clinical trials or medical? Do you have 6 years in quality and auditing? This is NOT a QC position.

This is a full-time benefitted, day position at the Indianapolis IN Office, 8211 SciCor Drive, within the Quality department. This is an onsite position with potential of Hybrid following training and understanding of the position.

Job Summary:

The individual will promote a quality driven culture across Central Laboratory Services through the conduct of internal audits and through the interactions with operational departments.

Essential Job Duties:

• Performs internal audits according to applicable standards.

• Identifies opportunities for improvement within the organization.

• Acts as a liaison for an operational department.

• Executes existing interpretation of regulatory requirements and quality standards.

• Delivers training material to QA teams.

• Creates local procedures.

• Provides support to client audit hosts.

• Trains auditors on the regulatory requirements.

Position is domestic and within a single business unit working out of Indianapolis IN Office_8211 Scicor Drive.

• Principal Contacts and Scope of Communications are with QA colleagues and Functional departments.
• Influence - Effect changes where persuasion is required with short term impact on internal employees weekly.
• Travel Requirements: Travel may be required within country and within the region for meetings, audits and training purposes.

Minimum Required:

• Minimum of 6 Years of experience

Preferred

• Extensive Covance specific database knowledge.

• Formal GLP and GCP training.

• Participated in external continuing educational programs in quality assurance related sessions.

Education/Qualifications/Certifications and Licenses

• BA/BS year degree in medical, technical or laboratory-related science
