Sr Software Developer

In Order to Join the ELEVI Team you will need:

• You must have a current or active security clearance with a poly.  
• Possess twenty (20)+ years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required or 4 more years experience
• ELEVI is seeking a Power BI Specialist/Software Engineer to support Malware & Cybersecurity Solutions which provides normalization of cyber security data and automation of threat intelligence. The Software Engineer will support a widely used application that provides data visualization through Microsoft Power BI dashboards. The successful candidate will provide extensive Power BI expertise to the development team, work with customers to resolve complex Power BI issues, and fulfill new data ingest requests, among other tasks.
• Required Skills:
  • Power BI desktop
  • Experience with creating Power BI dashboards
  • Comfortable with a Windows environment
  • Python
  • Power Query M Formula Language
• Desired Skills:
  • Powershell and/or C#
  • MS SQL Server
  • Power BI Report Server Administration
  • Postgres
  • Git
  • Docker
  • Experience on Linux environment
  **Limited telework to start but will have telework Up to 60% once up to speed**

 Some of the day-to-day activities:  

• Support the modernization of malware analysis and develop techniques for metadata storage for knowledge management to support the defense of national security systems.
• The engineer will be a part of a team who explores new technologies and prototypes new mission tools and analytics.
• The team also develops new algorithms and innovative techniques to address mission related problems.
