In this role, you will:
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality software supporting growth and monetization
- Collaborate closely with product and other cross-functional partners to define requirements and deliver solutions
- Understand and operate in our existing systems and proactively suggest improvements and new ideas based on industry best practices
- Drive incident investigations, post mortems, and retrospectives and effectively advocate for long-term improvements to systems and processes
- Influence within your team for the right engineering improvements to increase the quality of our software, testing, and processes
What you bring to the table:
- Multiple years of experience in mobile software development
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills on mobile software products
- Proficiency in either iOS or Android development and some level of comfort with the other
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across a range of audiences
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with native Android, native iOS, and cross-platform mobile development approaches. Including evaluating tradeoffsÂ
- Track record of influencing adjacent engineering teams with best practices or mobile client needs
- Experience with subscription management and/or advertising on both Android and iOS
