Responsibilities:
· Work with office staff at multiple locations to properly record transactions
· Develop strong relationships with various, disparate accounting, office and operational coworkers
· Manage month-end and year end closing and financial reporting processes in a timely fashion to meet assigned deadlines and ensure compliance with US GAAP.
· Ensure that all general ledger balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly and advise the leadership team of any potential exposures in a timely manner.
· Provide leadership from an Accounting & Finance perspective with respect to local and regional business results. Help Operations and Leadership team members understand local and consolidated performance and identify areas where potential improvements can be achieved.
· Assist with P&L review calls to ensure critical insights are being provided to operational leadership in a timely manner and assist with investigating any inquiries raised by General Managers and RVP’s regarding business results or other matters of accounting.
· Demonstrate full ownership of business transaction processes and a commitment to continual process improvement and best in class performance.
· Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
· Support budgeting and planning processes by gathering and reporting on historical data.
· Organize and update financial records and accounting procedures.
· Prepare documentation for external auditors.
· Assemble job costing and calculate various commissions.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
· At least two years’ experience in Accounting or a related field
· Strong mathematical and analytical skills
· ERP Software experience – preferably in Quickbooks and SAGE Intacct
· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
· Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
· Ability to read and analyze financial reports
· Strong understanding of US tax regulations
Salary: $80,000 annually
