Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and reports, as well as supporting the overall financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical accounting and will be proficient in analyzing accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger reconciliation. Responsibilities • Oversee day-to-day cash and treasury operations, including wire transfers and internal account transfers • Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. • Assist the CFO in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts • Monitor departmental G&A budgets and review monthly variance with department leaders • Work cross-functionally to gather and compile financial data for reporting and analysis. • Support periodic internal audits and identify areas for process improvement and increased efficiency. • Provide ad hoc financial analysis as requested by the CFO and VP of Accounting • Ensure timely and accurate recording of all cash transactions; complete monthly bank reconciliations • Administer and manage the employee expense reimbursement system Skills • Solid understanding ofGAAPand core accounting principles and practices • Proficiency in managingaccounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger reconciliation • Strong working knowledge of themonth-end close processes • AdvancedExcelskills (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables, formulas) for data analysis and reporting • Experience preparing financial reports withhigh level of attention to detail • Ability toanalyze financial data, identify trends, and assist inbudgeting and forecasting • Excellent analytical thinking andproblem-solving abilities. • Strongverbal and written communication skillsfor cross-department collaboration • Experience withSage Intacctis a plus Join our team as a Senior Staff Accountant where your expertise will contribute significantly to our financial operations and success.
