What You'll Get to Do:

The Senior Business Partner role will assume the responsibility for providing the interface between the assigned function and the CACI Enterprise Services organization to ensure the alignment between the delivery of solutions, capabilities, project work, and the operational and strategic goals of the function. The Senior IT Business Partner will be the primary liaison for business leadership and senior stakeholders, providing a conduit for their interests and objectives, while equally serving as a channel of engagement and communications from IT to the respective functional areas. The Senior Business Partner will partner with and help focus business leadership efforts in identifying and formulating initiatives, proposals, and business cases to achieve their objectives, while maintaining alignment with the IT environment and strategy through creating awareness and understanding of current and future technological capabilities. The Senior Business Partner will support the CACI Sectors.

This position requires comprehensive knowledge within business areas. This position will report to the Director of Enterprise Support Services. Work is performed under general direction and is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives and to ensure compliance with processes, standards, and policies of the organization.

More About the Role:

  • Establish and maintain ongoing relationships with business leadership teams and key stakeholders to have an ongoing understanding of how IT can best meet their needs and objectives.
  • Partner with business leadership and senior stakeholders to develop regular assessments of long-term business needs and develop cyclical demand forecast reports for leadership.
  • Lead and coordinate activities critical to building a business case for new investments, such as conducting technical research, assessing viable innovation opportunities, prioritizing projects, managing business expectations, and forecasting cost/benefit of new technology.
  • Act in a consultant capacity to ensure that business groups select optimized technology solutions and prioritize new technologies in long-term project plans.
  • Proactively alert business leadership to new technology or technology development opportunities that meet business challenges.
  • Research, evaluate and report on product/service offerings that meet the business customer needs; ensure all product/service options have been explored.
  • Engage business customers throughout product/technology life cycle from marketing of services/products, demand and planning processes, to delivery and support of product/services.
  • Facilitate negotiations and resolution with IT organization when a customer reports diminished service levels or requires a change in service levels.
  • Build credibility as a trusted advisor by sharing business and value-based information concerning IT competitive position and continuous improvement objectives.
  • Represent and correctly position the IT service portfolio by explaining options, performance commitments, and strategic alignment.
  • Anticipate business customer's future needs and demands.
  • Lead the adoption of business strategy within IT through the refinement of Enterprise Architecture practice.
  • Translate business ideas into high level requirements.
  • Partner with PMO to ensure proper alignment, prioritization, funding and approval of business needs that drive projects.
  • Promote a collaborative team environment and provide mentorship to junior-level analysts.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of business strategy and development roadmaps.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management best practices (i.e. ITIL).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IT roles and functions as well as technology trends and roadmaps.
  • Ability to develop close, trusted relationship with the functional groups.
  • Ability to create high level requirements for technical solution implementation.
  • Strong understanding of project management techniques with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, priorities, tasks, and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to exercise strong, professional judgement, utilizing job knowledge and experience to evaluate risks and manage outcomes.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong personal effectiveness skills including integrity and trust, problem solving, decision making, organizational effectiveness and results orientation.
  • Ability to use creative skills and innovative thinking to solve problems with logical solutions, multi-task and make fact-based decisions.
  • Ability to produce results through others while maintaining a high level of morale.
  • Experience with financial planning and budgeting.
  • Proficient with MS Excel, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Certification as Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 Certification.
  • Working knowledge of service delivery frameworks and methodologies including - Agile, PMBOK, ITIL, etc.
  • Experience with PowerBI and SQL
