Perficient is excited to offer a career opportunity for a Senior Content Strategist, working remotely from any location in the continental US (with the ability to work within EST or CST business hours). As a Senior Content Strategist, you will join Perficient's Digital Marketing group, reporting to the Content Practice Lead. You will serve as lead consultant on enterprise client accounts, driving project teams toward successful content strategy delivery. You will advise clients and execute deliverables across diverse digital content subdisciplines including email marketing, branding, content modeling, website architecture, organic SEO, and site migration.
The ideal candidate will blend strong client management skills with content strategy expertise, rooted in a sound understanding of overall client objectives, target audiences, and competitive market dynamics. A cultural fit on this team requires an agile intellect, willingness to stretch, fast-paced creativity, and a passion for all things content marketing. Please note: this is not a content design or content writing position.

Responsibilities
- Leading or co-leading client engagements that integrate work streams such as: personalization, globalization, and full-journey messaging strategy; content audit, strategy, development, and governance; information architecture (IA), card sorting/tree testing, taxonomy, and content modeling; keyword research, link building, and content optimization for SEO and UX; as well as migration planning, URL mapping, and content authoring.
- Developing content strategies in collaboration with the client, other internal stakeholders, and lines of business on program execution. In doing so, you will act as trusted adviser on content efforts, leveraging insights about business challenges and opportunities as inputs.
- Delivering content programs and projects on time and on budget. Critical to this position is your ability to analyze project requirements, organize and prioritize tasks, identify risks early, and manage the content program process efficiently.
- Providing direction and oversight to junior staff and multidisciplinary team members supporting content program execution, and guiding their efforts through the entire project lifecycle.
- Recommending new initiatives that drive future client growth and providing an experience that culminates in innovative, results-oriented work product.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience managing corporate and/or client content programs.
- Proven ability to develop and manage digital content programs through the entire project lifecycle, including strategy, planning, execution, reporting, and maintenance.
- Experience working with clients and internal stakeholders, including managing and mentoring junior staff and developing content program plans, briefs, strategic recommendations, and professional communications.
- Proven success managing and delivering content programs with a data-driven approach.
- General experience applying personalization and content strategies, including familiarity with components and page authoring within different web environments and enterprise content management systems (CMS) such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Sitecore, Optimizely, Drupal, SharePoint, etc.
- Familiarity with user testing tools such as Optimal Workshop and design tools like Figma, Miro, etc.
- Experience setting and communicating priorities to project teams, while managing multiple, often fast-paced projects simultaneously.
- Client-centric work ethic and ability to motivate and foster a sense of teamwork among project team members and the client.
- The professionalism, confidence, and attention to detail necessary to earn the respect of client executives, peers, and project team members.
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $64,974to $149,880. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
