SimpliSafe is seeking an experienced marketer to join our growing team in Customer Experience, Marketing and Loyalty. We're looking for a Customer Growth Marketing Specialist to propel our work forward.  In this role, you will manage the day-to-day email implementation for customer growth marketing, helping to increase hardware and subscription purchases,and maximize customer growth, retention and lifetime value.  You will utilize your skills and passion to help make SimpliSafe best-in-class at email production, personalization, inbox placement and conversion. You will use your creativity and knowledge of email best practices to help develop testing roadmaps and work with ESP and analytics partners to build and analyze reporting to track key metrics of success. SimpliSafe also has an exciting roadmap of new products, which you will help launch among our growing subscriber base. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute customer marketing programs with upsell/cross-sell opportunities to increase retention and achieve revenue targets; heavy focus on email with opportunities to expand to other channels
  • Create marketing briefs that clearly articulate your marketing objectives and oversee creative development with our creative team, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Develop testing roadmaps to continually improve our customer growth marketing initiatives
  • Manage the promotional calendar and implement promotional strategies to drive sales 
  • Support the launch of new products to our existing customer base, partnering closely with Product and Marketing on go-to-market strategy 
  • Support the inventory forecasting process, collaborating with Analytics, Finance and Manufacturing Ops 
  • Responsible for the testing and QA process to ensure that campaigns are executed efficiently and error free
  • Manage campaign performance reporting to monitor trends, identify areas for improvement, and document learnings from experiments
What You'll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in email marketing; experience in a subscription-based business a plus
  • Hands-on executional experience working in ESPs; experience with Braze a plus
  • HTML/CSS knowledge and technical capabilities to build and QA/troubleshoot email programs; experience with Liquid Logic (or equivalent language) a plus
  • Data-driven mindset; comfortable analyzing relevant key metrics
  • A sharp eye for evaluating marketing creative and a passion for testing and optimizing communications
  • Strong interpersonal skills, as this role is highly collaborative in nature across the organization including copywriters, designers, analysts, and developers
  • Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills to prioritize multiple projects at once 
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven problem solver 
  • BA/BS degree (or equivalent work experience)
