Job Title: Sr. Director, New Business Sales
Compensation: $150,000 to $185,000

Adswerve is seeking a New Business Sales Director to join our sales team. This role is tailored for a sales hunter who excels in securing new opportunities within named accounts and through client prospecting. The ideal candidate drives the entire sales cycle, from pipeline development to closing deals, offering Adswerve's services and solutions. Beyond achieving targets, the ideal candidate comprehends the challenges of digital transformation and guides clients on risk mitigation through innovative solutions.Â
The New Business Sales Director should demonstrate the ability to shape client programs, provide consultations, negotiate contracts, and assess risks, all while aligning with Adswerve's policies and standards. Success in this role pivots on a deep understanding of digital transformation obstacles and the ability to provide purpose-built innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for securing new solution-led business and enhancing revenue growth for Adswerve.Â
- Sell Adswerve’s media, technology, and analytics solutions and services to new clients through activities spanning the sales cycle: pipeline development, lead qualification, client meetings, proposal development, negotiations, and closing.
- Work with the Adswerve Growth leadership team to define a go-to-market strategy, build a sales pipeline, onboard supporting roles into the team and ultimately deliver the revenue targets of the business.
- Work with Marketing teams to determine and deliver support strategies and collateral for the go-to-market plan and potential target client engagements (Direct marketing, Events and conferences, Advertising etc)
- Define solutions, proposals and contracts for engagements into prospective clients
- Identify and convert potential clients into paying customers for digital services
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Establish and manage client relationships, and navigate through sales cycles from prospecting to closing while understanding the client's technology needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business while aligning with Adswerve’s solutions
- Leverage existing partnership programs to generate opportunities (Google and Adobe)
- Collaborate with solution strategists to explore and penetrate identified opportunities.
- Represent Adswerve at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to showcase our solutions, nurture leads, and establish connections within the industry.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with delivery teams, services, marketing, account management, and partnerships to ensure seamless client experiences and successful solution implementations.
- Work closely with technical teams to elevate and articulate the technical aspects of our offerings.
- Share expertise and best practices, encouraging a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in outbound sales, with a focus on adtech and martech solutions, preferably with Google and Adobe technologies.
- Proven track record of successful business development in digital technology consulting, adtech and martech implementation, and analytics-based media outcomes.
- Previous experience developing custom solutions for clients
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry professionals.
- A proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach to sales, with a drive to exceed targets and achieve business objectives.
- Experience representing a company at industry events, nurturing leads, and expanding business connections.
- Experience mentoring and guiding business development representatives, fostering their growth and success.
This position pays a base salary of $150,000 to $185,000 per year. This position is eligible for a semi-annual individual bonus based on performance and a year-end company bonus. This position is also eligible for commissions. Wage differential is based on training and experience.
