Sr. Engineering Manager - Vehicle Applications

We are in an accelerated growth phase and looking for highly motivated accomplished and driven Senior Engineer Manager for Vehicle Applications to join our growing team. As a part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the full software development life cycle, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and products, from conception to deployment. The perfect candidate is expected to be very hands-on but also able to lead a strong development team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and grow a global engineering team. 
• Define, implement, and oversee development processes to ensure high-quality and on-time project delivery.
• Set standards for code quality, reliability, and maintenance.
• Provide technical guidance and direction to ensure the team delivers scalable and reliable software solutions.
• Conduct design and code reviews.
• Partner with product managers and technical program managers to set development priorities and manage project scopes. 
• Represent the engineering team in customer engagements, gather and analyze customer requirements, and drive solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field. MS/PhD degrees are preferred. 
• 10 years of hands-on software development experience with a strong understanding of system architecture and clean code. 
• 5+ years of experience building and managing a software development team, with a minimum of 2 years of experience managing first-line managers.
• 2 years of experience in a technical lead or architect role.
• Experience in managing engineers located in multiple countries.
• Excel in managing multiple parallel projects. 
• Experience in C++ and Python.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
