Sr. Frontend Developer

Work Model: Remote | East Coast Hours

Employment: Corp to Corp - Contract only

Length: 12+ Months

Rate: $60-65 per hour USD

Description:

The Frontend Developer at Credera is responsible for designing and developing responsive, high-performance web applications based on business requirements. The role involves working on moderately complex to complex challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of various factors. The ideal candidate will build and optimize user-centric interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience across different platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate and implement scalable frontend solutions.
• Develop the user interface (UI) of applications with an emphasis on performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
• Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
• Maintain high standards of code quality using ESLint and other best practices.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs efficiently.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using Jest or similar testing frameworks.
• Stay up to date with modern UI/UX trends and best practices.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and contribute to iterative development cycles.

Experience & Skills:

Experience:

• 5+ years in frontend development.
• 3+ years of experience with Next.js, React.js, or Vue.js.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with state management libraries like Redux.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL for data fetching.
• Knowledge of Git for version control.
• Understanding of Webpack for module bundling.
• Experience with Jest for testing.
• Familiarity with ESLint for code quality and consistency.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, Agile/Scrum environments.
