As Senior IT Systems Engineer at Sphera you will be working to ensure our global teams and business is sufficiently supported across our internal technologies and systems. Executing on an IT strategy focused on cost-effective, secure innovation, you will be collaboratively designing and implementing solutions with a diverse team of stakeholders and providers. From networking to virtualization to identify and access management, you will provide expertise across a wide array of IT disciplines.

Essential skills:

At least 5 years of hands-on IT infrastructure and systems experience

Expert level knowledge of Office 365, Active Directory, Windows Server 2016 and later

Foundational network design (DMZ network architecture, Routing, Network ACLs)

Virtual and physical server experience

Strong problem-solving skills

Effective project leadership skills 

Ability to communicate effectively with multiple disciplines

Preferred skills:

Scripting and automation (Powershell, Bash)

Cloud-based networking and architecture (Azure, AWS)

Foundational security best practices (defense in depth, least privilege)

Database management (SQL)

Certifications like CompTIA A+, CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, MCSA

Monitoring (New Relic, LogicMonitor, Rapid7, etc)

Experience with managed service providers

Work Hours:

2.30-23.30 IST, remote opportunity
