The Sr. Manager of Art Animation will be responsible for facilitating the translation of artistic and animated designs and concepts to electronic media forms. This Sr. Manager will apply innovative tools and techniques for graphic optimization to produce deliverables in line with industry trends. Integral to their success will be the ability to maintain integrity of the design vision, overcome technical limitations throughout the entire game development process, and provide the best visual experience for casino players. The role works in close collaboration with Project Managers/Product Owners, Game Designers/Producers, Artists/Concept Artists, and Testers.

Essential Functions:

• Drives completion, modification, and/or adaptation of graphic files for game development.
• Liaise between the art and engineering team to maintain artistic design and visual identity of a game project working within software limits.
• Assembles, iterates, and maintains 2D/3D artwork, using Photoshop, Unity, 3rd party plug-ins, and IGT developed tools.
• Operates within a cross-functional game development team within an Agile/SCRUM environment.
• Ensure the graphic presentation of the final product runs smoothly at full visual resolution.
• Able to provide feedback, review output of others, and influence technical decisions of the team and organization.
• Continuous improvement activities to maximize the use of existing technology, leverages design efficiencies, and evaluate design packages and tools.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's degree, or comparable relevant working experience in fine arts, graphic art, 2D/3D animation or equivalent.

Experience:

• 12+ years' experience in the art industry, casino game development or equivalent, combined experience.
• Experience creating complex graphics including action scripting in Photoshop, asset or game optimization (movies, 2D/3D, particle systems, animations), marquee lighting, extending backgrounds, creating new elements for existing games, working with texture memory, or equivalent.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and After Effects.
• Proficiency with Unity, Unreal, or other 3D game engines.
• Proficiency with version control software.
• Advanced understanding of 3D concepts and workflows.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $120,000 - $130,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
