Sr. Manager - Legal

Legal @Dream Sports:

Dream Sports (DS) Legal is the in house legal function that supports all divisions within Dream Sports ecosystem on varied legal issues relating to the existing as well as prospective businesses for the group ranging from general corporate, M&A, fundraise, structuring, litigation and litigation strategy, IP strategy, registration, monitoring and enforcement, data protection etc.

Your Role:

• Depth & breadth in info tech laws & regulations, data protection/privacy, intellectual property (trademarks, copyright, personality rights), media rights/sports rights acquisition, gambling & betting laws & relevant gaming regulations
• Focus on solving marketing /content supply / brand & product launches/features, applications using prior experience in TMT & product
• Ensuring proactive & preemptive management of legal, financial & reputational risk across B2B & B2C verticals of BUs
• Collaboration, communication & coordination with external legal, tax counsels and law firms for validation of legal advice

Qualifiers:

• Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience in intellectual property law & sports/media rights acquisition deals
• Proven work experience of working on information technology contracts
• Previous experience of working on Data Privacy and Protection
