Sr. Product Designer

As a Senior Product Designer at Utility, you will shape the experiences that transform our client's businesses. You know our clients' goals, their pain points, and how to craft complex yet elegant user experiences for some of today's leading brands and startups.
You are adept at capturing interactions, edge cases, and various states of the user journey. You are passionate, curious, and eager to move the needle with our client's business. You will be working collaboratively with a talented and diverse team of product managers, strategists, and engineers. As a Product Designer at Utility, you will have a significant impact on our end users, our team's efficiency, and ultimately our client's bottom line. We are here to break the mold. We design and build industry-leading digital products, from mobile apps and web properties, to machine learning and AI, as we position our clients as innovators in their industries. And that starts with you.
What you bring to the table:

• You have 5+ years of experience thinking through the user journey and producing user flows, wireframes, and interface designs.
• You're fanatical about creating design systems, branding artifacts, and UI kits to improve the workflow and give additional clarity.
• You understand how a product is built, and you collaborate with your engineering team to ensure designs are implemented as intended.
• You have demonstrated working within an agile approach to design, with an emphasis on user testing and ongoing iteration.
• You have worked in multiple project areas, from competitive analysis and research through UX/UI design execution and optimization. You understand the importance of user experience and how design can impact business results.
• You know how to present your work to internal stakeholders, and clients, and are comfortable defending your design decisions and choices in person.
