Sr. Product Manager - Software - Meraki Switch

Cisco Meraki is seeking an experienced, innovative, and collaborative Senior Product Manager to lead our software strategy for Meraki's fastest-growing product line; cloud-managed switching. You will work with one of the industry’s fastest-growing product portfolios, passionate about the capabilities that make the product truly innovative: the device & cloud software platform. There will be opportunities to simplify a notoriously complex market and build the next generation of solutions across Cisco, driving billions of dollars of growth along the way.

In this position, you will change the way the industry thinks about networking. You will own the charge to continue that evolution by teaming up with top engineers, designers, sellers, and marketers across the company. You'll have the opportunity to meet with some of the world's most prevalent brands as we transform the industry by solving difficult problems. We want your help making this product stand out in the growing multi-billion dollar networking industry!

• You obsess over the customer experience; the product is nothing without happy customers that enjoy using the product every day.
• You bias towards action; data matters, but perfection is your worst enemy. Better to experiment quickly than wait.
• You work with your business partners to understand our users, collect and prioritize requirements, and become intimately familiar with the archetypal users of the product to advise your decisions and strategy.
• You continue to find new ways to differentiate and grow an already highly-successful product, through innovation and solving fundamental problems.
• You have experience bringing both SaaS and hardware products to market; this role includes the intersection of both atoms and bits/bytes.
• You can come in and quickly form opinions that define the software strategy and roadmap, without compromise.
• You love working across teams to remove roadblocks and deliver against your vision with measurable results; the bolder the initiative, the more excited you are.
• The buck stops with you; you serve as a single-threaded owner for the product, and its success.

• Demonstrated experience in modern cloud and/or connected-hardware technology; 3-5 years of product management or equivalent experience
• Passion for learning about networking and cloud technologies; what connects the dots?
• Strong product and design instincts with a passion for building user experiences that delight the users they serve
• Entrepreneurship; a lead-by-example product professional with an ability to make an impact quickly.
