Fluidra’s looking for a Sr. Sales Operations Manager to join our team in Carlsbad, CA.
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
The Sr. Sales Operations Manager is responsible for designing, executing, and managing sales & marketing operations to drive growth of our B2B Pool Professional Segment. This person will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive plans that focus on gaining, retaining, and farming dealer partners, with a hyper-focus on our fast-growing aftermarket dealer segment.
Ideal candidate will have business growth mindset, ability to understand / identify business needs, translate them into operation plans that enable selling teams and accelerate scalable company growth. This person should have a broad understanding across many forms of sales and marketing tools as they will have the ability to impact many aspects with their operational strategies. This person should be able to balance and pivot between short term deliverables and long-term well-throughout scalable solutions. This person should be analytical in wanting to use data to justify operational adequacy. Measuring how the systems and processes are working against actual sales outcomes. This person most importantly, must be a team player, knowing how to articulate themselves and work well within their team and cross functionally with those in another. Additionally, you will:
- Responsible for optimizing the success of sales obtainment by analyzing, enhancing, and improving end-to-end processes.
- Possess a deep understanding of sales, marketing, and customer success processes to unlock greater possibilities and maximize revenue growth.
- Work cross functionally to optimize and streamline operations.
- Strategic Partner to stakeholders, translating their business needs into technical requirements.
- Identify gaps, needs, opportunities, formulate recommended solutions, and implementation plans to help support and uplevel internal teams, sales teams, marketing, and customer experience teams.
- Drive success of sales and marketing teams by enabling powerful systems, automated workflows, and process to support business processes.
- Partner with key teams across Fluidra (Marketing, Product, IT, CRM, and Sales Teams) on critical operations that drive sales efficiency, enablement, and scalability.
- Define internal logistics and use CRM and other technology to maximize performance.
- Use CRM by aligning prospects appropriately to various selling teams.
- Leverage and enhance Fluidra Rewards programs as a selling tool to obtain customers.
- Optimize the dealer's onboarding process and make it easier to do business with Fluidra.
- Communicate effectively to the broader organization the strategy and sequential tasks necessary to accomplish sales plan execution.
- Define and manage reports and dashboard that effectively communicate sales performance.
- Actively analyze data for insights, growth opportunities and to make informed decisions.
- Maintain, improve, and communicate recurring sales reporting that tracks sales KPIs.
- Conduct data analysis to uncover sales opportunities and drive deeper understanding.
- Produce and review actionable and accurate sales reporting for sales reps, mangers, leaders, and executive teams.
- Be able to independently execute as well as lead the execution of projects by working closely with others.
- Regularly report status updates, roadblocks, and alternative solutions to overcome hurdles.
- Assist in creating business cases and gaining buy-in for new engagement opportunities.
- Measure, analyze, and report on marketing effectiveness and return on investment.
- Hold and maintain the master plan documents with project details and timeliness.
- Develop strong market understanding of the industry, distributors, dealers, and competition.
- Leverage a broad range of tactics to accomplish growth goals (i.e., field sales, inside sales, email marketing, digital advertising, CRM, events, web and app experiences, promotions, training, reward programs, and printed literature).
WHAT WE SEEK
- 5+ years’ experience (i.e., Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or related role).
- Deep understanding of sales techniques and essential skills in GTM and post sales roles.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to develop omni strategies across multiple channels.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Experience working in a team-based environment with cross-functional dependencies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and drive cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills.
- Ability to problem solve in a changing environment with numerous deadlines.
- Experience identifying new marketing channels, defining target audiences, and devising strategies for ongoing performance optimization.
- Simultaneously working on long-term strategies and ensuring short-term outcomes.
- Proficient with CRM and sales automation tools, such as Salesforce.com.
- Experience tracking revenue, costs, and sales forecasts in Excel.
- Travel 10%-20%
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Expected salary range is $117,000 - $175,000. Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards / benefits program that includes base salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
