Are you a seasoned software developer with a passion for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and cutting-edge technology? We are looking for a highly skilled Senior GIS Developer to join our team in Brooklyn, NY, in a hybrid role. This position requires a local candidate with expertise in GIS, ArcGIS/ArcFM, Python, AngularJS, ArcGIS Javascript API, and ASP .Net (C#). Job Summary

As a Senior GIS Developer, you will be an integral part of our development team, providing development and technical support to our client's ArcGIS and ArcFM-based Enterprise GIS systems and applications. Your role will involve developing and maintaining applications using ArcGIS server sites, creating sophisticated GIS solutions, and ensuring our systems meet the highest performance and reliability standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provided development and technical support to the client, as well as ArcGIS and ArcFM-based enterprise GIS systems and applications.
• Develop minor enhancements using Python, AngularJS, ArcGIS Javascript API, ASP .Net (C#).
• Support Client Landbase applications, including new development and troubleshooting requests.
• Deploy ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server) and administer ArcGIS server sites.
• System monitoring and performance tuning of the systems.
• Publish services and administer user roles and privileges.
• Coordinate with other teams like server support, security, DBA, etc.

This is an hourly position with opportunity for overtime.

Mandatory Qualifications: (Please read carefully. They MUST be shown on your resume)

• 5-10 years of experience in administration, support, and development of ArcGIS applications.
• 5-10 years of experience in administrating and supporting ArcFM applications.
• Development and coding experience using Python, AngularJS, ArcGIS Javascript API, .Net (C#).
• Experience in deploying ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server) and administering ArcGIS server sites.
• System monitoring and performance tuning of the systems.
• Ability to publish services and administer user roles and privileges.
• Ability to coordinate with other teams like server support, security, DBA, etc.
• Ability to understand requirements, support the team, and share best practices/lessons learned.
• Provide status updates on the tickets to the client SME.
• Troubleshooting and problem resolution for issues reported by end users of the enterprise applications.
• Utility Experience (Plus): Leverage utility industry experience to enhance GIS solutions and contribute to industry-specific initiatives.
• Windows server knowledge and experience.
• FME Experience: Work closely with FME Suite for GIS Landbase activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Technical Skills:

• Administration and testing of Enterprise GIS and Database Projects.
• ArcGIS Developer.
• ArcGIS > ArcMap.
• ArcGIS Server administrator.
• ArcGIS Server, Portal.
• Maintenance of GIS software ArcGIS and ArcSDE.
