Sr. Staff Software Developer

We are looking for a talented engineer to join our team, focused on delivering innovative new features and enhancements to our flagship SaaS platform, Visier People. Visier People helps organisations transform their raw data into actionable insights, which they can use to make better, fairer, quicker decisions that drive positive business outcomes. What you'll be doing...

• Developing new features and functionality for Visiers People, and other Visier applications
• Gathering requirements and designing new software features
• Contributing innovative ideas to help the team continuously improve in terms of process and best practice
• Leading and mentoring junior software developers
• Leading by example by demonstrating software development best practice

What you'll bring to the table...

• Extensive professional experience developing cloud-based applications
• Excellent coding skills in at least one object-oriented server programming language (Unix environment).
• Excellent knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Great assets would be: experience with functional programming languages, modern web technologies, data science or patterns
• Ability to work quickly to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The base pay range for this position in Canada is $152k - $190k / year + bonus. 

The compensation offered will be determined by factors such as relevant qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills. Many of our positions are eligible for additional types of compensation (e.g., commission plans, bonus, etc.) which our Talent Acquisition team will share with you if you interview for the role.
