We're Looking For A: Senior Video Sales Letter Writer who will be responsible for elevating the impact of video sales letters and contributing to the success of direct-to-consumer brands. Craft compelling and innovative ideas by leveraging exceptional writing skills, persuasive prowess, and a proactive approach to drive substantial revenue. Specialize in crafting and editing scripts for video sales letters, with a focus on creating high-converting content that seamlessly blends entertainment, scientific precision, and persuasive elements. Excel in producing captivating scripts tailored for brands in the consumer goods sector, particularly those selling supplements, pet products, and beauty items.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Conduct thorough research to craft, refine, and enhance "video sales letter" scripts that captivate, inform, and persuade audiences across various video-centric customer acquisition platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and others.
• Ensure that scripts are entertaining, scientifically accurate, and compelling, effectively communicating the unique selling points of products.
• Dive into product research to grasp the scientific foundations behind product ingredients and their beneficial effects.
• Identify and articulate the distinctive features of products within their respective markets. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the personal health journeys of celebrity spokespeople associated with the brand.
• Curate and incorporate impactful user testimonials that resonate with target audiences. Continuously revise and optimize "video sales letters" to maximize performance across different customer acquisition channels.
• Occasionally provide oversight and leadership during on-set production of video scripts, offering valuable feedback on final edits to ensure alignment with brand messaging and objectives.
• Conceptualize and compose scripts for short-form advertisements tailored for social media channels, contributing to the brand's overall marketing strategy and online presence.

Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don't tick ALL of these boxes.):

• Proficient writing skills with a strong focus on non-fiction storytelling across visual and editorial platforms, encompassing persuasive essay composition, broadcast journalism, documentary filmmaking, and branded content creation.
• Outstanding research and conceptualization abilities enabling a scientific grasp of products and their biological mechanisms of action.
• Capability to distill complex scientific subjects into clear, simple, and compelling language for effective communication.
• Strategic thinking to devise innovative and creative approaches for marketing health, wellness, and pet products.
• Familiarity with direct response marketing principles, demonstrating an understanding of its dynamics.
• Highly creative and self-motivated individual adept at working independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, showcasing resilience and agility in response to changes.
• 6 years of experience in copywriting and/or writing for a visual medium.
• 8 years of experience writing & directing in a visual medium, ideally with some advertising/marketing experience preferred.
• Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Writing, Film, or a related field.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $91,000 - $121,400, plus annual & monthly KPI bonus potential.
Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geographical location.
