About the Role

As an IT SRE, your primary responsibility will be to manage and automate our internal identity and access management systems. You will be building processes and systems to decentralize role and authorization management, monitor critical IT infrastructure, and support various systems shared by our engineering and research teams.

The SRE/Senior DevOps Engineer team operates at the forefront of cutting-edge technology. They seamlessly navigate multi-cloud environments, including AWS, GCP, and Azure, using Kubernetes as a central orchestration tool. Leveraging technologies such as Terraform, Helm, Docker, and other deployment frameworks, they ensure a streamlined and efficient deployment process. The team actively manages all the Core and Machine Learning infrastructure underlying our scalable solution.

Working as a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will:

• Promote passionate DevOps culture that is driving massively scalable,  highly reliable, resilient services in a fast-growing customer and engineering-focused company. 
• Setting and maintaining SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs
• Plan and prioritize operations projects, including managing costs and assessing new technologies and implementation as appropriate
• Manage all on-call incident response process and operations shifts 
• Develop and improve the overall observability of the application and infrastructure 
• Proactively test the flexibility and resilience of the system by partnering with the appropriate stakeholders, giving hands-on experience to build reliability into the product
  Please Note: Symbl is fully remote.

In order to excel in this role, you should: 

• 7+ years of experience working in cloud-based systems  operations, as a Linux systems administrator, SRE or DevOps engineer. 
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related degree 
• Deep knowledge public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP and Azure)
• Experience required with Terraform, Helm, Docker and relevant deployment frameworks.
• Machine Learning Operations experience is Mandatory.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and orchestration tools; understanding of the deployment and operations of large-scale SaaS applications; familiarity with the testing, staging, and production stages using microservices-based architectures on public and private clouds
