As a Staff Accountant, you'll manage product costing, audit schedules, and international collaboration with our international teams. Your role involves close collaboration with operations to ensure accurate financial reporting, cost optimization, and global accounting standard compliance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate product cost models for all manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze cost variances and provide recommendations for cost-effective production
  • Prepare comprehensive audit schedules for both internal and external audits.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Foster effective communication with international teams in China, ensuring alignment on financial processes.
  • Coordinate and contribute to global financial reporting initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with the operations team to understand and analyze manufacturing processes.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making within the operations department.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese for effective communication with international teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of product costing methodologies and inventory management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, particularly with the operations team.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining audit schedules.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce desired.
