Staff Accountant

Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: North Scottsdale, AZ (near East Bell Road and the 101)
Compensation: $65k-$70k
Employment Type: Full Time with Benefits (Medical, Life, Dental, Vision, and 401k)
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. No nights, no weekends, and no major holidays!

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Staff Accountant to support our accounting team in managing daily accounting activities. Key Responsibilities:

• Record and enter accounting transactions for multiple entities
• Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations
• Assist with accounts payable (A/P) processing and check payments
• Contribute to financial statement preparation
• Support payroll processing and payroll-related tasks
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies with strong analytical skills
• Adhere to company accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Assist with miscellaneous office tasks and ad-hoc projects
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure proper documentation of transactions
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
• High level of integrity and adherence to ethical standards
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with QuickBooks and/or Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (preferred)
