Staff Accountant (250489)
Job Summary
Staff Accountant assists with operations in the accounting department. Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization.
You will need to reside within 50 miles of our Corporate Headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ as this role has the option of hybrid or onsite.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform medium and high-risk reconciliations of general ledger accounts
• Create month-end journal entries
• Ensure that accounting work performed is in accordance with GAAP
• Identify large and unusual variances in expenses, and work with management for corrective actions
• Complete special projects as assigned
• Maintain financial security by following internal controls
• Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential
• Assist other accounting staff as needed
• Apply new accounting technologies and software to streamline accounting processes
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of applicable accounting experience.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel
• Able to work with minimum supervision
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills
• Ability to complete projects on time and accurately is critical
• Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus
• Ability to work more than 8 hours a day during the first 7 business days for month-end close
• Ability to come into the office a few days a week

Pay & Benefits Data (in accordance with the Equal Pay and Opportunities Act)
• Minimum Salary: $68,250
• Maximum Salary: $88,725
Maximum Salary: $88,725 This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.
