Staff Accountant

The ideal candidate for this position has full cycle accounting experience. Industries Serviced: Medical Healthcare, Behavioral Healthcare, I.T., Property Management, e-Commerce, and Retail. Job Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to): • Produce accurate and timely financial statements: Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, Cash Flows, and client-specific analytics. • Extensive knowledge of GAAP procedures. • Understanding of revenue recognition, timing recognition, prepaid schedules, accrual (payroll and expenses), COGS recognition, expense classification, WIP, and capitalized vs expensed purchases. • File and process sales/use tax based on clients’ scheduled filing times. • Accounts Receivable management for multiple clients and tenants. • Invoicing for multiple clients and tenants. • Regular AR reporting for clients. • Assist clients with Excel. • Bank reconciliation management. • Credit card reconciliation management. • Lease schedule and amortization management. • Efficiently and professionally address clients’ needs/concerns. • Professional and accurate client correspondence. Skills • Must have experience with payroll in QuickBooks Desktop. • Data entry skills and a knack for numbers. • Hands-on experience with Excel. • Pivot Table experience preferred. • Proficiency in MS Office • Attention to detail is a must. • Excellent organizational skills • 2 years' experience as a staff accountant Education: • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Required • Experience working with Property Management, e-Commerce, and Retail strongly preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off Work Location: In person
