Summary A detail oriented person who can communicate effectively and possesses strong accounting & bookkeeping skills. Responsibilities • Support corporate bookkeeping, maintain the general ledger, and reconcile financial accounts • Manage accounts payable, corporate card expenses, and monthly bank reconciliations • Help streamline billing, accounts receivable, and collections workflows • Provide accounting support for audits and corporate compliance • Maintain professionalism and a strong commitment to confidentiality regarding sensitive financial and employee information Requirements • 2+ years of experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping • Associate degree in Business, Finance, or related field (bachelor's preferred) • Proficient in QuickBooks • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting. • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability. • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills • Strong organizational and time management skills • Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment • Ability to learn and retain industry specific information. • Schedule reliability • Must pass Microsoft Excel skills assessment • PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, LOOKUP functions, pivot tables, charts) WHY JOIN THE DIRECTED IRA TEAM? • Company 401(k) plus match after one year of employment • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance • Annual Year End Performance Bonus • 15 days paid time off annually • 10 paid days off for company recognized holidays • Fun monthly company incentives and prizes • Monthly company lunches • Free snacks and drinks in the staff lounge Hired employees are subject to a criminal background check.
