STAFF ACCOUNTANT
 
Staff Accountant Job Responsibilities:

To support the Senior Accountants in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance/Accounting Department
To relieve the Senior Accountants of certain responsibilities that will allow them to spend a greater portion of their time on Financial Statement preparation and analysis, Budget and Variance issues, and Forecasting.
 
Staff Accountant Job Duties:

• Prepare general ledger entries as needed
• Prepare and maintain account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, employee benefits, miscellaneous accruals
• Assist in gathering data for sales/use tax
• Research balance sheet account issues as needed
• Support during annual audits as assigned
• Assist in the preparation of P&L forecasts and analyses
• Ad Hoc analyses as needed

 
Staff Accountant Skills and Qualifications:
A Bachelor Degree in accounting, 2-5 years' experience preferred; Deadline-Oriented, Work independently; Attention to Detail; Confidentiality; Advanced Excel skills; Microsoft office suite; SAP experience ideal
Provides support to local finance team by researching and analyzing accounts; and miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
