Staff Accountant (Hybrid)

This is a permanent, full-time position that will be domiciled at our Northwest Austin office on a Hybrid schedule. Zinda Law Group is looking for a detail oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to join our firm! As a Staff Accountant, your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be integral to the continued success and growth of the firm. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting the firm’s financial operations. Your core responsibilities will include: • Assisting in the preparation and management of annual budgets • Handling all accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice approvals and coding • Reconciling bank accounts and ensuring financial accuracy • Processing payroll and preparing payroll reports • Conducting regular bank deposits and maintaining accurate transaction records • Generating detailed financial reports to support business decisions • Ensuring all financial activity complies with internal policies and budgetary constraints Qualifications: • 3+ years of Accounting or Bookkeeping experience • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel • Knowledge of QuickBooks preferred • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment Compensation and Benefits: • Competitive salary based on experience • 20 days of paid time off plus 12 paid holidays • Medical, vision & dental insurance (100% of Base medical plan covered by the firm) • Simple IRA with up to 3% company match • Access to ongoing training, professional development, and mentoring • Opportunities to advance and grow within the firm Our core principles are: • Excellence Always • Only the Best • Failure is Not an Option • We Outwork our Opponents • We All Take Out the Trash • Run the Firm Like a Business Compensation & Upside: Competitive base in the $70K–$85K range, plus an aggressive bonus structure tied to firm revenue and profitability.
