Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and accounting principles, with a particular focus on account reconciliation, and technical accounting. This role is essential for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting while providing valuable insights into our financial operations.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Bank reconciliations
• Apply payments and reconcile customer and vendor account balances
• Experience using General Ledger and related Accounting software
• Prepare spreadsheets for various accounting analysis
• Verify and reconcile General Ledger account balances
• Assist with accounting reports and present their results
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
• Assist Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Assist with audit and tax return documentation requests
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls and efficiency
• Assist with counting and reconciling inventory
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or a related field, at least 2 years.
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPS and pivot tables
• Familiarity with technical accounting standards and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software applications; experience with SAP is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across departments.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
