Staff Accountant

We are looking for a reliableStaff Accountantto assist in preparing statements that follow all accounting guidelines under the supervision of a controller. You must be organized professionals with a great eye for detail. You must be reliable and able to carry out tasks autonomously and collaboratively. Responsibilities · Support most aspects of accounting management · Manage journal entries, A/P, invoices etc. and reconcile accounts for the monthly or annual closing · Assist with the processing and submission of invoices · Communicate with customers regarding open invoices · Review invoices for appropriate documentation and process them for payments · Respond to vendor inquiries · Perform any projects requested by the management · Assist other daily tasks Requirements · Proven experience in a similar position for over 3 years · Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations · Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.) · Working knowledge of MS Office · Well-organized with ability to prioritize · Very good communication and interpersonal skills · Attention to detail and problem-solving ability · BA in accounting, finance or relevant field is preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Schedule: • Monday to Friday • Overtime • Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
