Staff Accountant Santa Clara, CA (onsite) $35-40/hr Are you someone with at least three years of accounting experience supporting with accounts receivable or in the non-profit industry looking to support a wonderful team with accounting and billing? Key Responsibilities • Manage full-cycleAccounts Receivableprocesses, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations. • Monitor and trackcontract billing, ensuring compliance with grant and funding requirements. • Assist withmonthly and year-end closeprocesses, including journal entries and account reconciliations. • Maintain accurate financial records in accordance withGAAPand nonprofit accounting standards. • Collaborate with program managers to ensure accurate budget tracking and reporting. • Supportaudit preparation, including documentation for grants and contracts. • Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures. • Maintain and update contract and grant tracking systems. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • Minimum2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in anonprofitorgrant-fundedenvironment. • Proven expertise inAccounts Receivableandcontract billing. • Familiarity with nonprofit accounting software (Sage Intacct). • Strong understanding ofGAAPand fund accounting principles. • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-driven environment.
