Position Summary

Function as a member of the Backend Software Engineering SCRUM team.

Role and Responsibilities

Function as a member of the Backend Software Engineering SCRUM team. Build high throughput / availability, cloud based, advertisement solutions. Quickly prototype and develop consumer-facing services that will be displayed on millions of devices. Contribute towards building a system with a test-driven development / Agile approach. Rapid deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting around the cloud hosted environments. Work on relevant data pipelines to power the targeting data on the platform.

Skills and Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related IT role. In Lieu of a Master's degree and 2 years of experience, Employer is willing to accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related IT role. Applicants must have 2 years of experience (5 years in possession of a relevant Bachelor's degree) in the following: (1) using object oriented methodology in Java for developing backend and middleware APIs; (2) writing JUnit and unit test cases to provide test coverage for the developed code; (3) extracting and analyzing data from various databases using complex SQL queries to find relevant insights from the data and provide customer-specific aggregated results; (4) IntelliJ IDEA to utilize developer environment tools like GoLand to effectively develop, test, debug the code; (5) JMeter to load test the APIs and record 95 percentile performance to benchmark and document the performance statistics; and (6) Kubernetes to deploy the microservices in a scalable, fault tolerant manner.

Compensation for this role between $220,500 - $240,500/Year
