Staff Nurse

Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital, a part of the New Jersey Department of Health and the Division of Behavioral Health Services, seeks a full-time Staff Nurse to work with residents, their families and community agencies to provide assistance, counseling and instruction to residents.

Staff Nurses carry out therapeutic and medical orders authorized by a registered nurse, licensed physician or other supervisor - OR- under the direction of a nursing supervisor, physician other supervisory official, provide professional nursing care and treatment. Will also perform other related work.

Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital is a modern 552 bed psychiatric hospital located in Morris Plains, NJ.  

REQUIREMENTS

LICENSE: Registration as a professional nurse in the State of New Jersey.

SPECIAL NOTE: Must possess the ability to physically lift, move and position clients as needed.

NOTE: Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

LICENSE: Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
