Job Description

Description Primary Role: You will be partnering with the Pharmacy Manager, preparing and dispensing appropriate pharmaceuticals to patients. The job entails a high level of responsibility and knowledge. Essential Job Functions: • Review and execute provider’s prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality • Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster • Maintain full control over medication inventory, stocking and labeling medicine and other products and monitor their condition to prevent expiring or deterioration • Listen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice. • Prepare medicine when appropriate using correct dosages and material for each individual patient • Maintain patient profiles and history of all activities regarding medications dispensed • Keep abreast and stay current with HIPAA and Frauds Waste and Abuse credentialing • Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures • Responsible for ensuring that the Pharmacy and its employees are compliant with Federal, State and Local laws regulated • Ensures that the Pharmacy and its employees are aware and compliant with local facilities policies • Responsible for directing the daily work of Pharmacy Technicians, this includes providing input into performance evaluations and advising Senior Management of any behavioral and/or performance issues. • Responsible for managing the Pharmacy Technicians schedules. This includes advising Senior Management of any request for leave of absences or medical accommodations. • Other duties as necessary Requirements Required Education & Skills: · Current License to practice (PharmD) in Pennsylvania · Excellent oral, written skills Experience: · Previous leadership role helpful · Previous experience utilizing patient management system · 4 years related pharmacy experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $130,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Employee assistance program • Flexible spending account • Health savings account • Life insurance • Paid time off • Retirement plan • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
