Staff Pharmacist

Overview We are a sterile compounding pharmacy who are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. As a pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, conducting patient assessments, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Duties • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. • Provide patient counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions. • Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate medication therapy and overall health status. • Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Experience • A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelors degree from an accredited institution is required. • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and HIPAA regulations is essential. • Proven ability to provide excellent patient service and support through effective communication skills. • Familiarity with medication administration protocols and medical management practices is advantageous.
