A unique opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support a specialized diabetic medical supply mail order pharmacy focused on continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and insulin pumps. This role offers engagement in a non-traditional mail order environment where precision and care are essential, and each fulfillment requires attention to detail. Located in El Cajon, CA, this contract-to-hire position operates Monday through Saturday within pharmacy hours of 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. While the daily volume is moderateapproximately 20 boxed itemseach item demands dedicated processing time. The pharmacist will be part of a collaborative team comprising three pharmacists, five technicians, a clerk, and a driver, with tech support always available to ensure smooth workflow. Key Responsibilities: • Verify specialized diabetic medical supply products, including CGMs and insulin pumps • Accurately fulfill mail order boxed items utilizing the Brightree program system with comprehensive training provided • Collaborate closely with pharmacy staff and technicians to maintain seamless operations • Uphold quality standards and regulatory compliance for product handling and customer safety Qualifications: • Current California State Pharmacist License in good standing with no negative history • Experience in mail order or retail pharmacy settings preferred • Exceptional communication skills and a strong team-oriented mindset • Interest in working within a specialized diabetic supply environment • Candidates holding multiple state licenses will be strongly considered for permanent site manager opportunities This position offers an enriching challenge for pharmacists seeking to enhance their expertise in a specialized area of pharmacy practice.
