Job Description
Responsibilities:
TheStaff PharmacistFloaterpackages and dispenses prescribed drugs in a clinic environment and handles incoming physician calls, logs data into the computer, performs Rx workflow processing, and conducts drug utilization reviews.
This is a full-timeopportunity based out of our2800 S. I-35 Frontage Rd location but will float to other Austin locations as needed.
About the Role:
β’ Manage pharmacy operations and maintain the highest quality of pharmaceutical care and services while filling in for the PIC
β’ Properly dispense, order, and maintain proper inventory of drugs and supplies, pursuant to all state and federal laws
β’ Direct activities and workflow efficiency of the pharmacy staff
β’ Collaborate with physicians to discuss potential incompatibility issues with patient prescriptions
β’ Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the practice of pharmacy
β’ Keep abreast of changing laws, regulations, and new pharmacy-related programs
β’ Consult with clinic providers, administrators, and other personnel as appropriate
β’ Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
β’ Uphold a clean, customer-friendly workplace, and always project a professional and positive attitude
β’ Perform in accordance with company policies and standards, as well as the spirit of the Company's core values and goals
β’ Perform other related duties as assigned
β’ Occasionally provide support and travel to our other pharmacy (101 W. Koenig Ln &3100 Red River Street)

β’ Pharmacy hours: Mon - Tues: 9AM - 5:30PM, Wed - Thurs: 9AM - 8:30PM, Fri: 9AM -5:30PM & Every other Sat: 9AM-1PM.
About You:
β’ Bachelorβs or Doctoral (PharmD) degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university
β’ Pharmacist license in good standing in the State of TX
β’ Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program
β’ 1+ year of full-time retail or clinic pharmacy experience preferred
β’ 2 or more years pharmacy experience and/or management training preferred
β’ AAHIVP Certification preferred
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer skills with the ability to type 30+ wpm
β’ Excellent interpersonal, customer-service, managerial, and communication skills
β’ Able to efficiently work, mentor, and supervise staff in a fast-paced environment
β’ Able to travel to our other Austin pharmacies on occasion

Pay range: $112,000- $135,000 per year, based on credentials and geographic location.
