Your Role and Responsibilities
AI/FHE workload characterization driven by HELayers toolkit at IBM Israel Research Laboratory; pre-silicon power-performance simulator development; development of innovative data compression and prefetch mechanism as part of AI/FHE hardware accelerator development sponsored by a government program (e.g. RAMP-C). Documentation (papers disclosures).

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Research expertise in advanced computer architecture
• Advanced programming skills (Python C/C++)
• Knowledge of security fundamentals (esp. confidential computing and privacy-protected computation)
• Intermediate experience in energy-efficient system design
• Basics of AI hardware and AI-infused microarchitecture

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Proficiency in fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) theory and/or software programming (e.g. using open-source Libraries like SEAL
• FPGA-based emulation expertise
• Chiplet-aware microarchitecture design and modeling
• Knowledge of large language models (LLMs) in addition to classical deep neural networks (DNNs)
