Staff Software Engineer, Analytics Foundation

The Analytics Foundation team offers the capability of broadening the range of analysis use cases that are possible by building reusable objects that can be used across multiple workflows.

 As a Staff Product Engineer, you will: 

• Take product ideas from ideation to implementation.

• Build innovative interfaces that power collaboration across our products using Typescript, React+Redux, HTML, and CSS Modules.

• Work with our core frontend systems team to leverage and improve our design system and overall frontend architecture. 

• Integrate with backend services and build out endpoints with Node, GraphQL, Python, Postgres, and MySQL

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product and design teams to iterate on our product.

• Lead engineering discussions and mentor others on engineering best practices.

• Participate in design and code reviews.

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:

• Have 5 years of experience working in a frontend engineering role.

• Like to work closely with customers to build features and solve problems.

• Enjoy working in a technical leadership role on an engineering team.

• Have fluency with one or more JavaScript application frameworks (React, Angular, Ember, etc.).

• Enjoy building UIs with modern tools like Babel and ES6, React and Redux, Webpack and Typescript.

• Have a good understanding of current and emerging trends in web application development.

• Pride yourself in your excellent attention to detail and your design and UX sensibilities.

Based on Colorado law, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Colorado. Colorado range: $180,000 - $270,000 total target cash inclusive of bonus.
Based on legislation in New York City, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in New York City. New York City salary range: $199,000 - $300,000 total target cash inclusive of bonus.
Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $199,000 - $300,000 total target cash inclusive of bonus.
Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in California outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. California salary range: $180,000 - $270,000 total target cash inclusive of bonus.
Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington state. Washington salary range: $180,000 - $270,000 total target cash inclusive of bonus.
