We’re seeking a remote US-based Staff Software Engineer with strong expertise in Golang to join our team and help us build a safer more secure world.

Who You Are and What You’ll Do

As part of our continued growth we’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our team. In this role you’ll design solutions write code and guide software into production. You’ll build services that automate offensive security processes and deliver security insights to our customers through a scalable secure and reliable cloud platform.

As a Staff Engineer you will lead solution design drive quality standards and provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team and broader engineering organization. You’ll demonstrate expertise across multiple technologies while continuing to grow your mastery of the Cosmos stack — all to design and build solutions that enhance the capabilities performance and resilience of the Cosmos Platform .

Your Experience

• 5+ years of software development experience

• Mastery of Golang fundamentals and strong experience building microservices

• Experience with asynchronous processing; Kafka experience required

• Experience utilizing scalable cloud services; AWS experience required

• Experience working with datastores (SQL or NoSQL)

• Experience working in a professional software organization following an SDLC

• Solid understanding of coding best practices (structure patterns unit testing secure coding etc.)

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to solve complex technical problems

• Ability to communicate solution designs effectively to Cosmos technical leadership

• Ability to mentor others and share best practices in solution design and development

• Ability to break down technical platform and product requirements into clear actionable tasks

• Experience with React and Node.js as a full-stack engineer is a plus

• Strong interest in cybersecurity
