Job Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize server reliability while ensuring data integrity through backup and disaster recovery.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core services, including security policies and compliance.
• Configure and maintain virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware) and collaborate with storage and networking teams for system stability.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and provide technical support for escalated issues.
• Create and maintain documentation for systems, configurations, processes, and procedures.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Windows Server administration or engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar technical degree

Skills and Qualifications:

• Expertise in managing Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware) and storage technologies (SAN, NAS).
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management.
• Strong understanding of security best practices, server hardening, and patch management.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues independently.
• Excellent communication, documentation skills, and relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware) are a plus.

Compensation: $110,100.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
