(SLC) is one of the Valley’s most active ground-up and tenant improvement contractors, providing both general contracting and design-build services to SLC clients across the office, industrial, retail and medical sectors. Respected by architects, designers, owners and developers, the company is selected time and again to complete some of the Valley’s most prominent projects. Over its 40+ year history, SLC has completed more than 9,500 projects in the Phoenix metro area. SLC is currently looking for an Accounting Manager to join our Team. The Accounting Manager plays a critical role in supporting our Team to ensure project success. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Works closely with the Accounts Payable and the Accounts Receivable departments. - Work closely with the accounting staff to ensure monthly billings are processed timely. - Submits AIA Pay Applications and Letter Bills to clients. - Enters daily A/R deposits and processes daily ACH payments. - Conducts bi-weekly collections. - Job setup in accounting software. - Work with CFO to implement additional CMiC features in new accounting systems, GCPay and CMiC Imaging. - Supports job accounting closeout process. - Performs cash management tasks. - Processes ACH payments to vendors, positive pay file uploads, bank transfers, etc. - Performs vendor W9 compliance and Year end 1099 filing. - Manages background checks & drug testing. Qualifications - Must possess RISE values, including operating with a high level of integrity. This is a self-motivated individual who has a strong work ethic and executes with a high degree of customer satisfaction. - Strong cultural fit that embraces our Core Values and Purpose of “Promises Made. Promises Kept.” - Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related area is preferred. - Minimum 5 years’ experience required, preferably in a construction finance-related field. - Adept at problem solving, communication, working efficiently and independently. - Proficient with technology. Experience with CMiC and GC Pay is preferred but not required. - Dependable transportation, with a valid driver’s license and insurance. Working Conditions: - Primarily an office environment where this is minimal discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise and the like. Monday to Friday business hours.
