University Medical Partners (UMP), a partner of Stanford Medicine, is seeking a full-time BC/BE Pulmonary and Critical Care physician to join our multidisciplinary team in Pleasanton, CA, and Livermore, CA.

Position Details:

  • Full-time is 36 patient contact hours per week
  • Seeking a Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine physician to work alongside three (3) physicians in the clinic
  • Clinic Locations: Pleasanton (primary) and Livermore (secondary)
  • Opportunity is a mix of outpatient Pulmonary Medicine, inpatient ICU/Critical Care Medicine, and inpatient Pulmonary consult service at Stanford Tri-Valley Hospital in Pleasanton, CA
  • Clinicians see approximately 14-16 patients per day
  • The outpatient clinic also includes the reading of PFTs
  • 6-8 weeks of ICU coverage per year, coverage scheduled in 1-week block
  • 1.5 ICU night shifts per month, 1-2 ICU swing shifts per month
  • BE/BC in Sleep Medicine a plus (but not mandatory)
  • Call Schedule: 1:3 for Pulmonary coverage
  • CVICU experience required; Endobronchial Ultrasound Bronchoscopy experience preferred
  • Collaborate closely with Stanford University School of Medicine Faculty physicians
  • Teaching opportunities for Stanford Critical Care Fellows and Family Medicine Residents, to include a potential academic appointment
