State-Certified HVAC Contractor/Installer (Manual J Expert)

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and state-certified HVAC Contractor or Installer withat least 5 years of hands-on experienceto join our growing team. The ideal candidate must be proficient inManual J load calculationsand capable of performing high-quality HVAC system installations and replacements according to industry standards and local codes. This position is ideal for professionals who are committed to accuracy, safety, and delivering excellent service to both residential and light commercial clients. Key Responsibilities: • PerformManual J load calculationsto determine proper HVAC sizing and system requirements. • Install, replace, and service HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, and ventilation systems. • Ensure all installations are code-compliant and meet manufacturer specifications. • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues accurately and efficiently. • Maintain detailed records of installation, maintenance, and repair work. • Collaborate with project managers, team members, and clients to ensure job completion and satisfaction. • Maintain a clean, organized job site and ensure proper disposal of materials. • Drive company vehicle to and from job sites and suppliers. Required Qualifications: • Minimum 5 years of experiencein HVAC installation and service. • State-approved HVAC certification/license. • Demonstrated experience withManual J, S, and D calculations(Manual S/D a plus). • Valid driver’s licensewith a clean driving record. • Proficient with hand and power tools and capable of lifting 60 lbs or more. • Strong understanding of local building codes and safety procedures. • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
