Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Statistical Reporting Manager to lead our team of 3–4 reporting analysts in delivering accurate and timely statistical submissions to regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders. This role is essential in ensuring our insurance reporting processes meet industry standards, regulatory compliance requirements, and internal data quality expectations. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Actuarial Science, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPCU, AIDM) is a plus. • 5+ years of experience in insurance statistical or regulatory reporting. • 2+ years of team leadership or project management experience. • Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). • Familiarity with statistical reporting vendors/platforms (e.g., ISO, NCCI, Verisk). • Experience with policy, claims, and premium data from insurance systems. Primary Job Functions: • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of 3–4 statistical/reporting analysts. • Set team priorities, manage workloads, and conduct performance evaluations. • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture. • Oversee the preparation, validation, and submission of insurance statistical reports to regulatory agencies (e.g., NAIC, state DOIs, ISO, NCCI). • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory deadlines, standards, and data requirements. • Serve as a primary point of contact for regulatory inquiries or audits related to statistical reporting. • Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before submission. • Partner with IT, underwriting, actuarial, and compliance to resolve data issues and improve reporting processes. • Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure high-quality data output. • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes through automation and improved data workflows. • Lead or contribute to projects aimed at upgrading systems or integrating new reporting tools.
