Stockroom Controller - 2 years experience required

Position Title: Stockroom Controller Location: NYC Open Positions: 2 Reports to: Store Manager Job Summary: As a Stockroom Controller at Smartech, you’ll play a vital supporting role in the smooth day-to-day operation of our NYC store. You’ll be responsible for accurately receiving, tagging, replenishing, and organizing stock both in the stockroom and on the shop floor. Working closely with the Stockroom Manager and sales team, your efficiency and attention to detail will help ensure product availability, drive store performance, and maintain exceptional brand presentation. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role suited to someone who thrives on physical activity, has a strong sense of organization, and enjoys being part of a collaborative retail environment. Key Responsibilities: Stock Handling & Replenishment: • Accurately receive and unpack deliveries in line with company procedures • Label, tag, and organize stock efficiently • Replenish stock to the sales floor in a timely manner to support product availability • Support with stock movement during store refits, promotions, or events Inventory Support: • Assist with regular stock counts and audits • Maintain accurate records of inventory movement • Flag any discrepancies or damaged items to the Stockroom Manager Sales Floor Support: • Respond promptly to stock requests from the sales team • Ensure high-demand items are always available and easily accessible • Help maintain visual merchandising standards by ensuring stock is correctly placed and tidy Operational Support: • Support the wider operations and stockroom team with general duties • Adhere to all health, safety, and loss prevention policies • Maintain a clean and organized stockroom and back-of-house environment Details: • Start Date: July 14th • Location: New York City • Job Hours: Full-Time • Salary: $17 per Hour Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 per hour Benefits: • Employee discount Schedule: • 8 hour shift Ability to Commute: • New York, NY 10036 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
