About the Role As a Store Associate, you'll be at the heart of our mission to provide high-quality products and exceptional service to our customers. This is a hands-on role where you'll assist with a variety of tasks to ensure our store runs smoothly and delivers a delightful shopping experience. Our store hours will range from 10-8pm Monday - Sunday. What You'll Be Doing Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: • Welcoming customers with a smile and assisting them with their shopping needs. • Stocking shelves, refilling bins and dispensers, and ensuring products are displayed beautifully and are easy to find. • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe store environment. • Operating the cash register and handling transactions accurately. • Supporting your teammates and contributing to a positive, collaborative work atmosphere. What We're Looking For To thrive in this role, you’ll need: • 1 year of experiencein a customer service or retail setting is preferred but we encourage you to apply even if you don't have experience. • A friendly, approachable demeanor and excellent communication skills. • Strong attention to detail and a knack for keeping things organized. • Good open communication. • Team player willing to take responsibility and jump in when needed. • A proactive attitude and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Requirements • Complete a food service safety handler’s exam (provided) • Curious about sustainability • Experience in customer service preferred • Ability to lift heavy bulk bags (25-50 lbs) and be on your feet for extended hours Why Join Origins Grocer?
