The Strategic Account Management team serves as consultants, offering strategic advice on how best to excel on Agoda’s commercial platform. We are direct contributors to what makes Agoda one of the market leaders because we understand accommodation needs and offer innovative solutions. From Bangkok to New York and beyond, our team has footprints in over 50 locations around the world. With the help of industry-leading technology, we work and collaborate globally to bring together the best ideas from diverse perspectives. “The Opportunity:Â
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be the main contact between our accommodation partners and Agoda, with the responsibility of nurturing the relationship with our key supply partners and driving mutual growth. A key responsibility in developing our business is the ability to identify and acquire new sources of supply and product offerings within an assigned territory while maintaining existing relationships.Â
In this Role, you’ll get to:Â
- Develop long lasting relationships with key supply partners to enable Agoda’s growth in the regionÂ
- Maintain regular and meaningful engagement with Agoda’s key supply partnersÂ
- Analyse large datasets to propose tailor-made solutions to Agoda’s supply partnersÂ
- Leverage analytical and problem-solving skills to identify new opportunities to grow Agoda’s businessÂ
- Train and inform clients of both new and existing technologies, tools, and modelsÂ
- Prepare materials to aid in growing our business during partner meetingsÂ
- Respond to partners requests in a timely and effective mannerÂ
- Gain buy-in from relevant stakeholders to execute strategies and help launch promotional campaigns to enhance productivity and maintain Agoda’s competitivenessÂ
- Leverage product offerings to match market demands to maximize our ability to convert passive customers into active onesÂ
- Deliver on country KPIs, growth targets and country strategic initiativesÂ
- Support the Area Manager in preparing country reporting for senior stakeholdersÂ
What you’ll Need to Succeed:Â
- Bachelor’s degreeÂ
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in business development and/or account managementÂ
- Strong interpersonal skills & ability to influence both external / internal stakeholdersÂ
- Experience in internet/e-commerce preferredÂ
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsÂ
- Team player with a professional “get it done” attitude and work ethicÂ
- Proven success in acquiring, building & maintaining long term customer relationshipsÂ
- Adapts well to change and can work in a fast-paced environment.Â
- Ability to create new, innovative ideasÂ
It's Great if you have:Â
- MBA or master's degreeÂ
- Experience in Travel industry (is a plus)Â
This role is based in Sydney. NO visa/ relocation will be provided.
