Strategic Finance Expert

We are growing quickly and are looking for a Strategic Finance Expert to play a pivotal role in our continued success! This person will:

• Play key role in debt capital markets, including reporting process for existing lenders, leading negotiations with new lenders and aligning internal parties for effective debt management
• Assist in crafting treasury and cash management strategy, fostering relationships with banks in Clara's operating countries 
• Lead corporate development initiatives, conducting market research, discussing internal strategy, identifying priority targets, gaining executive support, and overseeing deal execution including diligence, negotiation, and execution 
• Prepare strategic analyses providing support for decision making within leadership team  
• Prepare materials for key Board of Directors and Executive Team updates 
• Be a self-starter! We are a startup and want someone who wants to dive in, is willing to be proactive, speak up when something can be done better, and to get their hands dirty
• Work independently, leading processes and conversations comfortably and ensuring an effective execution with internal and external stakeholders
• Be able to clearly communicate messages that link business issues, financial results, and strategy at the executive level

Our requirements for this position are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Economics 
• 1-3+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Consulting and/or Private Equity
• Strong financial modeling skills
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, focused on prioritizing impactful opportunities following the 80/20 principle
• Strategic thinker who can navigate complex business challenges and contribute to the company's long-term success
• Curious and with a self-starting attitude, capable of pivoting in a rapidly changing startup environment
• Fluent in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus)
